Guest guest
I was wondering when the Group was going to catch on this... I too have decided to lay low on the board bec of the heavy traditional medical tone " Marjorie " keeps hammering on us. I'm seeking other rosacea forums. While she is free to post as she desires, its a two way street here...and unfortunately, maybe its just my interpretation, but she dimisses anything except trad medical info. Fine, that's what she's trained to do, but its getting out of hand and eliminates the balance of alt versus trad. I'm sure she means well. Perhaps she's getting behind the scenes encouragement from somewhere, or like many doctors, just refuse to listen, who knows. I suspect she's so immune to complaints or negativity, she's treating the board like her patients -- She knows whats best, and that's that. So, I almost feel sorry for her. Keep in mind, for most of us, the trad approach didn't work so we're looking for other ways to heal ourselves. I would hate to see the proposed other ways dissapear. This issue isn't likely to go away anytime soon....Good Luck. Guest guest
I have been on here for quite some time...reading so many wonderful posts and different ideas (hey, who knows what might work?) and it really upsets me when people on this board " fuss " with each other. We all need to be open-minded and support each other. We certainly shouldn't be " judging " each other and setting up factions. After all, we are all in this together..... " all victims in one boat on a stormy sea....and we owe each other our deepest loyalty. " I truly appreciate all of the ideas and advice that people have posted; please keep all of the ideas coming along. Thanks,

Guest guest
I have to get in and defend Marjorie - I, for one, like her posts. I think there are lots of good medical advice to be had. I think we need to keep an open mind. Just because something is alternative, non-medical etc. doesn't mean its better. We all have different reactions to things - we all want to get whatever information we can. Let's be open minded and because someone may have not had the best experiences with convention medicine that doesn't mean it's all bad. There's room here for all opinions. To be honest - I have had just as many problems, and in some cases more, with alternative treatments as I have with conventional. I don't think we need to take sides on this. We should just be open to all. Please keep posting Marjorie
