Guest guest
I have been thinking about getting V-Beam done now for a little while. Unlike photoderm settings where you can change the wavelength, the V-Beam only uses 595nm wavelength. Is the only other setting intensity ? If so, it seems the practioner would have less chance to have a poor result as with photoderm due to less variables. If this is so, I may feel more comfortable with a Dr. who may not have a ton of experience using the V-Beam. Are these the general thoughts for others ? Part 2, does anyone know of a Dr. in the Dallas area, say within 100 miles ? I saw only one in Candela's website in , TX but I wonder about his skills...will try to find out more on that. However, if the skill level is not needed to as much as photoderm it may not matter ? Thanks.

Those of you that have had photoderm or vbeam are there any questions you wished you would have asked before beginning treatment? If there is a list of answers to these questions posted somewhere please direct me and excuse the questions. Thanks, Patty

Guest guest
Hi Patty, Just a few suggestions: Find out how much experience they have with treating specifically rosacea and flushing. Also if you will be treated by the doctor himself, or by a nurse/assistant. Ask to see before and after patient photos Ask about expected post-treatment downtime and any pre and post treatment instructions or recommendations to follow Ask about approximate number of treatments expected Ask about the improvement you can realistically expect Good luck!
