Guest guest
HI Sandy, My son was very hyperactive the first fiew days on the diet and I was not able to do the intro diet because of his pickiness towards some foods.I remember seeing that the behaviour flare up was a sign that things were working. We have only been on the diet for three months so I am no pro but I tried to figure out what foods he liked that were legal and appropriete for the stage of the diet. One things for sure kids don't want to starve ,my son came around to eating broccolli just hang in there. He just might surprise you.Good luck Day 2--Son raging We are on day two of SCD and Tobias has had 2 major and one not so major rage today. Between he has been up and down emotionally like crazy. We haven't had a day quite this bad for a while. He doesn't show any other physical signs. Do any of you know if this is a good sign of the diet starting to work or are we just having one of those days. He did get into the bread drawer that I had not cleaned out yet and had 1/2 bagel this afternoon. It was after the minor and 1 major that this happened though. I think I just need encouragement. I am feeling like my life is revolving around fixing food that my kids won't eat. I know as it goes on they will start to eat some of it but I want it to be worth the effert and money it is costing.
