Hi.

I don't think I understand what you just wrote. Are you recommending that we

do not do the diet or that it is not worth exploring ? I have read about low

oxalate diet, even though I am still learning about the practical details of

it. The reason why I ask for the list is because I have reviewed low oxalate

lists online that sometimes seem confusing or contradictory. Several times

it has been mentioned in postings about the completeness of the list

provided by the pecanbread group. Also, it was offered by Jody during the

SCD talk at the Long Beach DAN!. I took that offer seriously.

Now it seems very strange to me that, when I ask for it you write this to

me. Is there any reason why I should not ask for it?? If so, please state

it clearly so that I understand what you are trying to say. Forgive me if I

misunderstand but your message sounds more like a threat than advise. This

is very confusing.

I am on the list for the health of me, my family, particularly my daughter,

and , as a physician , in order to be able to help others when I go back to

work by learning and understanding the different aspects of SCD. Even though

I can't work right now becasue I am disabled with severe MCS and I cannot

detoxify until I get my daughter flying ( she breastfeeds), I try to learn

everyday for my family and for my future practice.

Can you please be more specific about what you are trying to say?

Thank you,

maria

Hi ,

Why are you wanting to do the LOD? Do you have kidney stones? Or for

healing the GI tract? It is very hard to combine the SCD and LOD.

It is against SCD policy to discuss other diets because it may produce

confusion. I would not rush to do that diet for the following reasons.

There is a Oxalate dumping that might occur,it is similar to chelation

where the body excretes a lot of oxalates. If you are breast feeding

that might make your child very uncomfortable.
