Guest guest
My son received EXCELLENT care at the San Diego clinic. Dr Mark Pian is the pulmonologist. The dietician is a little young and new but if you aren't worried too much about that, you should have no worries. Children's Hospital in San Diego is great. He stayed there twice--once to get a g-tube and once to get some other problems (non CF related) taken care of. As for getting admitted to LA, that is something that would be up to your insurance and at the discretion of the clinic pulmonologist. I would suggest that the clinic that sees him on a regular basis, also admits him to the hospital--all his records would be there, you'd know the staff, etc. --mom to Ashton, 21 months wcf (now living in Wichita, Kansas as of last week) > I am not happy with my current CF clinic and decided to change > 's doctor by the end of the first quarter 2003.
