I'll answer the soup starter: Take some bones and put them in the crockpot overnight or first thing in the morning with water and seasonings, and you will have a great stock. (You can toss in some vegetables too.) If you want, you can reduce it for even greater intensity. You can also make large quantities of soup, like chicken soup, and freeze. Guest guest
Hi crazymarypoppins, > few questions to save some time shopping. Thank you in advance! > > Leagal tomato juice? Should only have salt added. If from concentrate it is okay. Two legal brands are and Heinz. (V8 is illegal) > Leagal mustard? Many different brands . You'll have to check the ingredients. Make sure no natural or artificial flavours& colours, no onion powder and no garlic powder, no sugar etc. As an example my mustard contains: water, vinegar, mustard seeds, salt, turmeric and paprika. > is there a legal apple juice? No. There may be legal apple cider in your area. In apple cider you want one that is cloudy and refrigerated (and no illegal ingredients - a preservative is okay) Should be diluted before drinking with at least 1/2 water. > legal fruit cups? (looking for pears) To my knowledge none. I make my own with small plastic containers and whichever fruit they like. You can sweeten the simmering water with alittle honey if you like. You may be able to find pineapple fruit cups but they have to be " in their own juice " . > soup starter,,for flavor? Chicken? Beef? Nothing commercial. You can make your own broth with meat bones simmered in water. I like to roast the bones first - gives the broth a great flavour.
