Guest guest
I don't have any answers or ideas, but hope that you will keep us posted. This must be scary for both you and Kristy. I hope she improves quickly. Gale > Kristy saw the Specialist on 23rd September and attained the best > lung function ever! Guest guest
Well I took Kristy back to her GP, the diagnosis: Exercise Induced Asthma! She is now back on Serevent. I forgot to mention in my original post that she does already use ventolin prior to all exercise, she also used to use Seretide up until two months ago when they took her off it. He had us check peak flows while she was exercising, getting her to stop when she was beginning to feel the breathing problems coming on. There was a huge difference between exercise inside and outside. Inside she went for almost 15 minutes and the drop in peak flow small, outside she went for only 2 minutes with a larger drop. The Doctor also provided us with a letter for her PE teacher! Kristy is also going to have some allergy tests done in the next couple of months, much to her disgust. I would like to thank all of you who replied to my original post! Barbara Australia
