Guest guest
I have had 3 photoderm treatments, and all three treatments yielded increased facial redness immediately following the treatment - nothing major. However, on my most recent treatment (# 4) I received several bruises. It looked like someone scratched the side of my temple (the bruise was about 1 inch by .5 inch -- the size of the filter on the laser). The reason was due to the setting of the laser. It had too much energy and caused a burn. Despite looking like I was in a fight, it does not hurt and does not appear to be permanent. Fortunately this " test " patch was on the side of my face! Thus far, I believe the treatments are having some effect on my permanent redness. I believe the redness has subsided slightly and the flushing has decreased in intensity. I would not call it a complete fix. With this experience, I am reminded that this is not a risk free procedure. I just wanted to share this informaion.
