Guest guest
I saw a dermatologist today and was I ever glad I found her. After several different dermatologist I was so down and disappointed then I finally got " lucky " ! First, I was told I am in the third stage of cea....YUCK! Of course, looking at my face I knew that. I was given samples of Eucerin Gentle Hydrating Cleanser, Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser, not the bar kind, DesOwen Lotion and Noritate Cream. She said to try the two cleansers and see if I can use either of them. The Lotion and Cream are to be applied separately, one in the morning and one in the evening. I came right home and put the Noritate Cream on and had no reaction. That is a miracle for me as I have extremely sensitive skin. I asked about foundation to help cover up the rednesss and breakouts and she suggested to let some of this heal before applying any type of make-up. But she did say I could try Almay Products or anything that is for " sensitive skin " . Nothing was mentioned about a special diet......although I am on one with my other health problems. Has anyone tried the DesOwen? I have seen some postings of Noritate which were mixed but never saw anything on DesOwen. Also someone posted about Diet Coke......does this include all soda products or just the ones with caffeine? I drink Diet Sprite which of course is caffeine free but when you go out you have no choice but a caffeine diet soda or water. I did find out from a friend that if you are diabetic and don't feel like plain water ask for lemon with your water and add your sugar substitute. Now that is something I do at home quiet often. Just a suggestion in place of plain water. Looking forward to hearing from everyone. Dawn
