Guest guest
If this is the only moisturizer you can use without irritation, I think you could continue to use it. Everyone has different topical triggers. For instance, I couldn't use this since it has mineral oil and petrolatum. I'd get an instant bad reaction. You seem to use this with no problem. The only thing that looks a bit suspicious is the lanolin alcohol. Dr. Nase said that people shouldn't use products with alcohol in them, including the fatty alcohols like lanolin alcohol probably is, unless it's very low on the ingredient list. Dr. Sy disagrees with him on this and says that the fatty alcohols are ok. If I were you, I'd continue to use this moisturizer. It looks low on the ingredient list. I'm glad you found something that works for you! Take care, Matija > I use Eucerin moisturizer...the ingredients are water, petolatum, > mineral oil, ceresin, lanolin alcohol, methylchloroisothiazolinone, > methylisothiazolinone. Guest guest
It's not so much that lanolin is in the lanolin alcohol form its that lanolin in and of itself is a known irritant. > > I use Eucerin moisturizer...the ingredients are water, petolatum, > > mineral oil, ceresin, lanolin alcohol, methylchloroisothiazolinone, > > methylisothiazolinone.
