Guest guest
I think that much of the same was true for me, as well. My father used to pick me up from the hospital, take me out to the dairy farm we owned in Michigan, at the time, get out the horses, throw each of us one (with tack and all) and give mine a whap on the rump, and we had a gallop, then a trot, and slowed to a walk together. He claimed that it was the best respiratory therapy in the world. He also got me a pogo stick, and encouraged me to use cross-country skis and to ice skate and to swim (mercifully, in the summer). I did not feel different having cf when I was young because I wasn't. ANY kid who got sick in the pre-anti-biotic era was probably due for two to six months at home or in hospital for part of it anyway! Goooooooooo! kids with cystic fibrosis! n Rojas--guess this Tobramycin and this Azactam must be get ting to me--I've only been out of the house once! ARRRRRGGGGGHH!
