Guest guest
This is something that catches some people. The (deliberate) setting for the group is that replies go to the author. To address a reply to the whole group you must take one more step to do so. 1. if you use the eGroups poster - i.e. the web site, (as this message I'm replying to did) you must `drop down' the form box at the " To: " line right above the subject line. Select the line that shows the whole group - rosacea-support . (further note, don't slip and select the -owner address as this will only get to Matija and I). or, alternatively ; 2. if you use an email program, like say Outlook Express (:-<) and read each email from your inbox - use the `Reply All' options rather than `Reply'. This default was chosen to force an extra step so that people will be sure that they want to address the whole group. With 2000+ members we want to keep the message load to what is manageable. cheers, davidp. -- Pascoe, mailto:dp@..., Western Australia t> can someone enlighten me as to proper way to post a reply to t> newsgroup (as opposed to just to the author)? t> When I hit reply and send my message, it never seems to make it to t> the board. t> If I choose post, it makes it to the board. t> thanks t> tommy t> -- t> Please read the list highlights before posting to the whole group (http://rosacea.ii.net/toc.html).
