Guest guest
Hi, I'm confused about various things I've read about almond milk. I got the impression when I read the book (but of course, now I can't find the place where I think I read it), that one should wait awhile (longer than one waits for introducing nut flours, for example) to try making almond milk, but then a link I followed to pecanbread with a chart of early/late foods in various categories suggested almond milk fairly early. The factors I can imagine mattering would include how finely nuts are ground and whether they are cooked, so I could see almond milk going either way. My kids are begging for fluid milk. Sherri, The BTVC book says. " use nuts only as nut flour until diaharrea has cleared up " page 75 edition 10 Pecanbread suggests Nut Milk at Stage 2. You are not bound by The Stages. It is a guideline. Carol F.
