Guest guest
Krystena, At least you seem to be moving in the right direction even if you have to pay $325 it will be worth every amount to finally get some answers no matter what it may be. Good luck ambry testing Hi all, Ambry Genetics is sending me a sample kit over night! All I have to do is take it to my son's pediatrician (with $325!). We may do this Thursday! Just wanted to let you know! Krystena s
Guest guest
Hi all, I just wanted to share with you the respose I got from Ambry. I was so hoping that I would have results to take with us on Monday to the CF clinic. What is the CFTR gene? Last time I heard the tests were about done and read to be called in and then this came up. Anyone know much about the whole process? Krystena ***************************************************************** We are currently testing your sons sample for mutations on the CFTR gene. The sample has been processed through the first and second stages of the testing process. We need to repeat one part of the test. This occurs sometimes and is nothing to be worried about. I will be working into the weekend to get yours and other samples through the system, hopefully by Monday. I can not give you any data about the results. I can only report information back to the requesting Dr or GC. Thank you for your understanding,
