Guest guest
I had pulsed dye done on small areas of my face five years ago. I had the purple bruising and swelling you described that lasted approx. ten days. However I also had some staining of the skin which was cranberry in colour. In my case it was caused by iron deposits left in the skin. This is a side effect that can happen to some patients (the doctor's literature said approx. 1%, however I believe it to be higher). This side effect was not permanent. It took approx. five months to fade away. The doctor gave me fading cream to help the process. When it finally resolved itself, the treated areas had improved. They were lighter with an improved texture. The benefits remain to this day. If the same thing is happening to you, hang in there, it will improve and you will see benefits!
