Guest guest
Hi Kim, First off, the sperm donor thing threw me off too. It's been a long day and at first I thought that she was replying to someone else's post & titled it wrong. Then as my mind cleared I realized that she was referring to my ex. Well, as usual, Grandmom Bev hit the nail on the head!! Joint custody means that we share the kids, I (And my family) buy the clothes, and he pays no child support. I better leave it at that or I could go on forever... About his PFT's funny you should ask.... Here the past few times we have gone, we have done PFT's about an hour later than usual. At about 10 to 10:30. He has been awake longer and moved around a bit. This might make a difference. I've noticed that he coughs more right after he wakes up. Josh was on Cipro and Septra because of his increased cough and decreased PFT's. He used to take Augmentin all the time as a maintenance drug. This stopped about 18 mos. ago. And finally, Josh was very proud to be ahead of the game for a change. I'm still waiting for the day he will take a little more responsibility for his own care. At his age I expect more from him, then I hear from other parents and realize that he is not the only teen with CF that is convinced that he will live forever no matter how poorly he takes care of himself. So I sit back and wait for the day.... Thanks for asking about him, PS-- Thanks to you Grandmom Bev for understanding my feelings and making me laugh on such a cold dreary day!!
