Dear Louie,

I have some information for you. It has been a rough month for me

with the withdrawals. I am sweating and shaking very bad. The

withdrawls are kicking my butt. If I can make it till Thursday I can

get a new script. The altace is doing little to control the chest

pains. The lortabs help some, making me sleep not the shakes and

sweats.

Now, you should have at least a couple of months on your pump left. I

do not understand why your alarm is not going off every 18 seconds.

Did they disable it? I am going to try to send a copy of my last pump

reading print out.

That looks right. Anyway, You can get a print out to compare from

your doc. He may have the volume down real low. Mine is loud. My

alarm went out 3 months before the quack did anything. I was

malfunctioning very bad. It showed withdrawal effects in the last

month. Nothing like the effects now. I think he should be able to

increase your morphine a few clicks even now, to help your pain. It

is not going to be using that much more power if he does. Well in the

range of a caring doctor. I must warn you that no medicine will

replace what you are pumping. There are withdrawal pain you would

believe. Your doctor must get your pump replaced ASAP. I think you

are ok for now. You should get the alarm disabled for now, they know

the problem. No need for that constant beep. Percocet is fairly weak.

See if you can't get something stronger for breakthrough pain. You

should not be in a 7-8 range in pain on the pump with a decent

doctor. This has gotten long and so have my mistakes to correct, I

wish you the best. Now I must return to bed, been there most of the

day. I lost my phone line with the storm Saturday night, just got it

back late today, Thanks for the prayers everyone. God is trying,

unlike my doc.

> Hi , You close on the name but your are right I'm a gal, but

I'm now tell the real name. I hope you feel better soon. Thanks for

the e-mail. My doc at OSU was Dr. Ellison who is a surgeon.

>

> Hi and , Sorry to disappoint you all but my alarm is

not ringing out loud yet. They can hear it when they use the

computer mouse to reset it .

> Hope you both are feeling well.

>

> Hi and , I hope you are both feeling better by now.

> Other CP Pals, I don't mean to slight anyone, I hope you are feel

ok and pain free.

> I still have my pain and it's holding between a 7-8. I did guy a

call from OSU today at 5pm and was told by the nurse Kathy, that they

didn't have a doc that could put in my new pain pump right now, so

they were going to have to consult with a neurosurgeon to see if one

could do it and they would get back to me. If the pain get too bad

or the pump quits working I'm to let them know and they will call me

in a RX for pain meds to hold me over. Well it's time to take

another percocet and phenergan for the nausea. They do help and I'm

at least able to sleep for a couple hours and they I wake up for my

next round of pills. I have been mostly on liquids today and

resting and sleeping most of the day. I do hope this makes sense,

as my brain is going faster than my hands can type. I think I'm in a

bit of a fog with the pain I'm having. I'm going to go and try to

get some well needed sleep. Hope you all are feeling better than I

am, I would want to wish this spell I'm having on anyone.
