Think of home schooling.....it is better in a lot of ways...a little more challenging...but better when it comes to their health! > Hi, Antoinnette, Home schooling is out of the question - BJ is a foster child and I HAVE to send him to school. I got him into a decent program about 40 minutes away. He's making progress and I'm content. I have homeschooled some of my other kids, including my autistic son, who passed the GED on the first try and is now at the local community college for his first semester. Homeschooling is great, and I recommend it to many people. But it's also nice to have a few quiet hours in the day. I cook for a family of 7, and only BJ and I are on the diet. The others turn up their noses a lot, but SCD sloppy joe's made with 3 pounds of hamburger are gone in one sitting!!!
