Guest guest
> > Where is an SCD granola recipe? I've checked 4 books and 2 websites. > >> Granola was done in one our cooking classes and is copyrighted so I can't post it but here is a lovely recipe for Granola Bars that are SCD legal: GRANOLA BARS [printable version] Ingredients 2 cups peanut butter 1/2 cup honey 1 small package raisins 1 small package medium unsweetened coconut 1 small package sliced almonds coconut milk vanilla or some other flavouring (optional) Instructions 1. Mix it all together and press into a tupperware. 2. Refrigerate and cut into small squares. Notes These are so good! You can put any combination of nuts and seeds* in them. Measurements are pretty well inconsequential. The almonds give it a " crispy " texture, like Rice Crispies or something. I also like sunflower seeds with it. If you had the patience of Job (oops, Bible reference... ) you could roll them into balls. If you are my husband, you just scoop into a bowl and eat. lol. UC since 1997, scd since Oct 2000, INDIANA *Do not use seeds of any kind until three months after the last symptom has disappeared and then try them cautiously. (BTVC) - Carol F.
