Incredible changes w/ my boys!!!!

I cannot even believe how excited I am right now!!! We started SCD

a week ago today. I cannot believe the changes in my boys....

Cameron: 51/2 diagnosis anxiety disorder: HE IS NO LONGER

SCRIPTING!!!! This is a child who scripts words from movies and

books several times an hour. GONE!!! He also moves his mouth to

the side when he talks and is anxious. This is improving every

day. Over the last few wks he has been doing it non stop (before

the diet). Today I saw him do it 4 times. It is probably 80%

better. His mood swings are gone. He is happy and content and I

have seen an increase in imaginative play in the past few days. I

wouldn't believe this if I wasn't here to see it.

Cameron had almost no die off effects from starting the diet. A

couple days at beginning of irritability and hyperactivity but

nothing major.

Riley: almost 4 diagnosis autism: Riley had a huge die-off on

monday (day 3 of diet) he was literally limp for several hours and

then snapped out of it and was fine. It was scary but my DAN! said

it was a die-off. Since that day preschool reported he got 100% on

all programs two days in a row. His speech therapist called me on

friday to say that he aced his programs w/ her. His moods are

great. His constipation is gone. We had two normal formed stools

on day 4 and 5 and is going regularly now.

Riley also had several days of diahrea along w/ starting the diet.

Both boys are trying new foods. I was really reluctant to start

this diet because I thought it would be soo hard. This is the

first time in months I have felt like I have control of the autism

and it doesn't have control of me!
