Guest guest
Hi everyone! I have spent the past week reading through these messages trying to learn as much as I can. I have been just diagnosed with mild rosacea although I have suspected for awhile that I have it. The funny thing is that I have been complimented my whole life on my skin (like some of you!) but my " peaches and cream " skin unfortunately set me up for this. I have always been a big time flusher. Anyway, I was wondering if I could get some feedback on my routine. I have always just used water to clean my face and never had an acne problem outside of the usual teenage years. I now wash my face each morning with Cetaphil and put on Cetaphil moisturizer SPF 15. Then, at night I wash again and apply Noritate. My derm. told me only to use it once a day. This week, my skin has been disgusting. I have broken out badly (on my cheeks) but am trying to remain calm because I know this does happen when you start a new product. (right??) To give you an idea of my face, I do have some slight broken capillaries on my cheeks and of course the reddish cheeks. When my face flushes really bad, I break out on top of my cheeks. My derm. said she saw rosacea on my chin area too which I was never concerned with before. Guess I now should be. I am looking for the flushing induced breakouts to end. Will the Noritate do this? Cause my skin has never looked so bad as it does now after my first week on Noritate. UGH If you have made it this far---thank you! I appreciate any comments and/ or feedback.
