Guest guest
I wish I had known this before....I went straight to the full strength enzymes for Ki Ki and she had horrible die off reaction....she even has sores on the side of her mouth. Does anyone know what this is about or a sign of...is it die off too? She was a mess today, crying, sick, pale, lethargic, listless and looked horrible! Die off is the flu from H E double two picks! My husband is miserable tonight, dizzy, nausea and is his back pain related to die off too? Thank God I am feeling better today. My son's peanut butter/phenol binge behavior is wearing off...thank God. He was literally bouncing off the walls...literally! Xena our other daughter 17 months old (five months younger than Ki Ki) has a horrible read yeasty diaper rash and hates the Nystatin Cream because it hurts when I rub it on! Yes we are having FUN! Yet still look forward to more rewards.....of seeing our children get better. Even sick, KiKi acted better today as far as participating with the family and what we where doing!!!!! She is now wanting to play/interact with her sister XENA for the first time....yet a little aggresive! And this is being SICK with die off! Guest guest
I would stop the enzymes and get a hold of the book by DeFelice as soon as you can " Enzymes for Autism and other Neurological Conditions " . Enzymes should be started one kind at a time, an eighth a capsule a meal. It is what recommends, and the first time, we did it the way you just did, the second time, her way worked as a charm. Not all enzymes are appopriate, there are so many different kinds. Not only must we find SCD legal ones, but ones our children can tolerate. If there are citrus sensitivities, you can get formulations without papain and bromelain. When the body starts digesting its food properly, it leaves less food for bad pathogens and yeasties to eat, and this causes " die off " . Secondly, the enzymes themselves, especially peptizyde and no-fenol, will break open some of these fungal guys (the walls are similar to vegetables) and this causes die off. Guest guest
Dear Gertrude: Thank you so much for your postings, they are great! I wanted to ask you, how long did you wait between stoping the enzymes and restarting them the second time around? I am asking because it sounds like I am doing the same thing you did the first time, I think I am giving too much and plan to make some changes. Wanted to hear you experience when stopped them, etc. thanks maria mom to fiol 15mo asd > > I would stop the enzymes and get a hold of the book by DeFelice as > soon as you can " Enzymes for Autism and other Neurological Conditions " . > > Enzymes should be started one kind at a time, an eighth a capsule a meal. > It is what recommends, and the first time, we did it the way you just > did, the second time, her way worked as a charm. > > Not all enzymes are appopriate, there are so many different kinds.
