Guest guest
As each child has different needs I would outline your child's specific needs. For example: unlimited bathroom priviledges; without having to ask for permission. that each special teacher is notified of the child's diagnosis and special needs (ie gym, music, woodshop, home and careers, art, computers, etc.). everyone who is in contact with your child (aides in schoolyard, bus matron, etc.) should be aware. stress need for fluids, high caloric snacks or whatever is applicable to your child. The point is make this letter about YOUR child and THEIR needs. Give a copy to the nurse, principal and anyone else you can think of. It will only benefit your child. Rosemary in New York with 3 children with CF - they are 12, 10, 6...I coined the phrase " BREATHE DAMMIT " ; and now we have a dog named - are you ready for this - TOBI after their medication!
