Guest guest
The only way I would say that this product is legal is if the company is willing to send you a real letter saying that there are no other ingredients. Jody

Guest guest
Hi, I have Solgar Advanced Acidophilus from my hfs that I've had for a little while. All ingredients seem to be legal except I can't find any info. on potato starch. Is this added to the capsule? If so, I'm planning on opening the capsule and discarding it so that wouldn't be an issue. The bottle is nearly brand new and I'd rather not have to throw them away only to spend another $15 bucks if I don't have to. I have read the book and the pecan site but still don't know so I'm posting my ? Thanks, Terri scd week
Guest guest
Hi Terri, From reading their site it seems as if the potato starch is mixed in with the probiotic powder and isn't part of the " vegetable cellulose, water " capsules. Sorry Sheila, SCD 61 mos > Hi, I have Solgar Advanced Acidophilus from my hfs that I've had for a > little while. All ingredients seem to be legal except I can't find any > info. on potato starch. Since both potato and sweet potato are not allowed because they are starchy it stands to reason that starch extracted from potato would be a substance to avoid. I hope this answer is satifactory and I am sorry for the delay as the question was posed twice on March 14. Carol F. SCD 6 years, celiac Carol F.
