Guest guest
Hi Dee I'm of land and I am African-American and you are right we do indeed called many of our Grandmoms and older Women's Big Mama it's just a figure of speech. In fact have of the Women we call Big-Mama are not over weight at all. It is not used to be disrespected. Also I seen the movie twice I think I only heard two jokes related to being over weight. of land

I'm about six months post-op; down about 80 pounds and feeling SO much better physically and emotionally that I find it difficult to take it all in as " real. " Please stay in touch, dear one; we need each other on this list. Dee in MI (16 Dec 99)
