Seasoning mixtures are not legal. This one contains celeriac. Youcan mix up your

own and

it will be every bit as good. Sometimes agents are added to commercial mixtures

to keep

ingredents from clumpling.

I thought celeriac was legal? It's one of my son's few tolerated

foods (pre-SCD) and I was looking forward to reintroducing it to

provide him with some much-needed calories.

Yeah, I know. We're probably going have to re-introduce it before the

optimum healing time though - my son can tolerate so few foods that we

don't have many choices about what we can give him and still stay on

the SCD legal foods list. Now, he appears to be reacting to all the

fruits we had started him on for the intro diet, so his tolerated food

list is even shorter than it was a week ago. I would wait on the

celeriac if I felt we had a choice, but this child has to eat something.

Sheila pointed out it is for those who are advanced in healing.
