Hi all,

Someone sent me this inquiry today and I am posting it to see if anyone has

any input regarding Milwaukee resources or if anyone knows Dr Marc Catalano.

I hope this finds you and yours well this holiday season.

Karyn

I am writing on behalf of my 23 y/o daughter who is currently

hospitalized in Milwaukee for the third time since fall following ERCP with

stent placement. (Done on 12/20)

She has been diagnosed with sphincter of Oddi dysfunction and her doctor is

attempting to open her duct to the point that he can eventually perform a

sphincterectomy.  This latest procedure follows removal of her gall bladder

in November

She is under the care of Dr Marc Catalano, who was recommended highly by our

family physician.   Can your organization provide confirmation of his

experience?   Would we be better off seeking another opinion at Mayo?

What are the alternatives?   As parents, we are about ready to do anything to

help our child.   To see her doubled over in pain in her hospital bed, being

" fed " sodium chloride by pick line day after day has grown real old.   Do you

have any links to resources that might be of help?

Appreciate anything that your organization can provide!
