I think I am worried about all of it she has so much responsibility to take

care of her health. teenagers are a handful anyway let alone being sick.

maybe i was also thinking aloud. i just worry about her being so far away

from home if she gets really sick which has happened before numerous times

she has spent a month at a time in the hospital maybe i am also being alittle

selfish because i dont want to let go the thing is we have always pushed her

to be independent and i guess it has paid off. we have always encouraged her

to do and be anything she can. so i know we did something right. i am just

really confused and worried and I DONT WANT TO LET GO i guess that is what it

boils down to thanks for letting me think out loud LISA

Oooh...cleanliness of showers at college. Speaking from personal experience, I

can say some aren't that clean. Back when I was in college (about 10 years

ago), nearly my whole dorm came down with mononucleosis. They finally

determined that we got it in the showers...you can absorb it through your FEET!

But, awful as that might sound, you can just buy her some shower shoes. She's

probably not going to want to step in the shower without them anyhow, just on

basic principles.

The bathrooms as a whole seemed pretty sanitary where I went. It was just the

showers that were kind of cruddy.

Hi ,

so what's exactly the problem? Are you worried about the quality of

CF centers in Utah? I am sure that some mebers can give you info

about that.

Or are you worried that won't be caring enough about her

treatments when she is on her own? Compliance and teenagers seemingly

is a constant dilemma :-))

Or do you have questions about her spot on the transplant list if she

moves out of state?

Maybe it's just me, but I am not sure what you are asking for. Or are

you just thinking loud :-))

, I am at the same stage with my son. It is a hard thing to face, will they

do their meds, their vests, what about the cleanliness of the bathrooms,

showers, etc, at college. WHAT can they catch there. UGH. I understand

completely where you are coming from. Cindy
