Guest guest
Kim, I hate to be a downer but this game was the highlight of a news report on one of those tv news programs (20/20, Dateline, 60 minutes, etc). Apparently a number of children have died doing this because as the marshmellows melt they become a sticky goo that becomes stuck in the throat. Once someone chokes on it, it's impossible to get the stuff out and the heimlich manuever has no impact because there is no hard object to expell just a thick goo. Very Dangerous. After seeing this report, I would never let my kids do this (not that they are really old enough yet anyway). I really liked your vitamin C and Zinc advise. I'll definately use that information. - mom to Emma 2 years old w/cf and Isabelle 4 years wo/cf On Sat, 09 Nov 2002 08:05:31 -0000 " paynekimj " kimpayne@...> writes: > Slumber parties!
