WOW, GAL !!

You never cease to amaze me. Bless that sweet Mallory too. & Boo that bad

daddy :):):) hehehe, just kidding. I can hear/see her doing that too. BUT, I

know she loved helping. I think she will be a nurse or Doctor........What a

trooper she is , BUT then , she takes after her mom & dad.

God Bless you all.

Give her a GrandmomBEV hug.

LOVE & HUGS, grandmomBEV

Mallory

Well we got Mallory started on her ivs tonight without a hitch. Her port

is

still working terrific three years later and we are very pleased about that.

She is on iv gent and fortaz (her last culture had two pseudo strains that

were resistent to tobra).

One of her favorite home health nurses came by just to do the weights,

height, blood pressure, vitals, etc..... (we don't ever access or start the

meds til the other kids are in bed..hard to have a sterile field with 7 kids

running around), so we are going to be on a 11 pm, 1 a.m, and so on

schedule.

Ron was supposed to help me access her port (just in case she forgets and

moves her arm over the sterile area or something, he usually sits there and

talks to her) but he didn't wake up. it was very funny, because Mallory

kept

calling him bad daddy for not waking up. I think it may have been the first

time I tried it alone...just having him there (you know, to hand me supplies

and stuff) seems to have made me feel better, but it actually went fine

tonight...I just enlisted Mallory to help a little more than usual (she

already does her own pushing of the syringes...tonight, she got to hand me

stuff, lol)

Anyway, the home health, not even knowing about the HR thing, was concerned

about her high heartrate tonight. I told her its been that way for a year

and not to worry that the doc is trying to figure it out still, but she

nevertheless seemed concerned.

thats about it.

Take care

Jen
