Guest guest
Hi le, That is amazing... I just recently posted about arginine and it's effect of Nitric Oxide. It releases NO big time and I thought what we want is to inhibit the release of nitric oxide!!! I have been taking Lysine supps since I read this, because lysine counteracts the effects of arginine, and I have improved!! This is too weird. Guest guest
I dont think Lysine will help. The reason lysine helps cold sores is because it is similar to arginine and the virus attaches it to it by mistake and dies. If you really want to try lysine, I would do it a few weeks after you cut down on foods high in arginine. I cut back on high arginine foods and saw improvement within the first few days. Then, a month or so later I tried L-lysine thinking it might help, too, but found that it actaully made me worse. So, I stopped the L-lysine and am doing fine right now just avoiding the foods high in arginine and of course continuing on my regular meds. Patty > > Hi le, > > That is amazing...
