Guest guest
Hey : Hang in there, you'll get here. I would call the pain I had disomfort, not really pain. I wasted a lot of energy being scared of the pain. Had I known, I would have not been so obsessed about it. They are right there when you ask for pain meds. And everyone does get the pump and that's a good thing. I used quite a bit of it the first day. I'd say from 12 to 12 I used pain meds but haven't needed or had any since midnight last night (about 12 hours after surgery). I liked controlling my own pain medication (I also DONT have any control issues). Am not ready to go visit my favorite aunt...I have no ammunition yet...if you get the drift! LOL, you're so bad! I'll write up a whole diatribe as soon as I feel a little more like sitting here. I've had two naps today...it's great to have the excuse. My sister just gave me dinner. Chicken broth in a cup...about 1/4 of a cup and we all laughed while they watched me eat it along with two oyster crackers. My sister, bil and husband have gone out to dinner. I hope they all get heartburn. LOL. I miss you too ! What's that song...I will survive...Baby, I'm strong!!! And please don't have Dr. R paged until I get my staples out. I don't want him stressed.
