If you check the archives there are a number of messages posted re:

Vitak Solution for spider veins (under twenty dollars in most places).

You can purchased it at most drugstores and online. I've been

experimenting w/ this product around my nose area for about a week,

and so far it appears to be working, although I think I have a couple

a weeks yet to see real improvement on the more visible veins.

One bonus, and I'm being cautious here, is that I'm noticing some

improved textural changes in my skin in the aforementioned area. I had

a couple of areas where the redness occasionally surfaced, that looked

like skin after a bad burn. It was just poreless, kinda smooth and

delicate. I'm noticing the pores are re-appearing and its starting to

look " normal. "

If you do search on Vitamin K, rosacea, you'll find a number of

products that will likely work, but the key is finding ingredients

along with the K that won't irritate your skin.

One final note, I strongly encourage people who are new to the board

to use the archives (yes I know, its a time zapper); be creative with

the key words, and you can find many answers. I can't believe how many

simple questions are posted over and over again. As we all have

learned, there are no quick answers and this disease involves lots of

homework!

hello all,

thanks for posting the internet comments and ingredients. i would love this

product to work...some of the ingredients alarm me though, like the fragrant

oils. aren't those supposed to be pretty irritating to the skin?

please post the results of use as you go along!

thanks,

carrie

Well, this all remains to be seen. If Dermatologists and Cosmetic Surgeons

use 5% Vitamin K cream, and it's claimed to be used on cea sufferers

too, I'd be very surprised if any of ingredients were harmful. But, after I

call the pharmacy tomorrow (Monday) to see if it can be gotten by

prescription, we'll see what happens from that point. I'm not real excited

about spending $30.00 to mail order it...
