As with anything in medicine there are no absolutes, everyone reacts

differently. I have had numerous infections from sinus infections to sepsis

caused from pseudomonas. Knock on wood I have not had any ill effects from

the antibiotics in relation to the pancreatitis. Some do increase nausea but

that is a normal side effect in many anyway. I couldn't start to mention all

the ones that I have taken and if I did you would see many jump on the

bandwagon and say no, absolutely not, stay away. Zithromax being one of

them. I have taken it many times for sinus infections and I love it. 5 days,

once a day, but there again everyone is different. Sorry I couldn't be of

more help but I didn't want you to think that Cipro is the only drug that is

safe. It jsut seems to be the antibiotic of choice of many.
