Hi. I used Aclovate for years and it destroyed my skin and my life.

My doctor did not tell me it was a steroid cream. He told me that i

could use it for the rest of my life and it would never hurt me. He

told me to use it every day and i did. He is now the head of

Dermatology at one of the best hospitals in the U.S. and has a

wonderful reputation.

I will say, though, if your doctor told you to use it for a few days

only and that's it, then i am sure that it will not hurt you. I don't

know anyone with any skin condition that is healed in a few days, but

it is worth a try. I would then put away the Aclovate and not use it

again for several months. I have a friend with cea who used

Aclovate(her doctor told her to use it every day) and when i found

out what she was using , I made her stop. Her rosacea immediately got

worse and she is now back to using the steroid cream because she

can't control it without it. Her doctor told her again that she

should use it. I had photoderm with a doctor who has rosacea and she

told me i should be using a steroid cream every day. She said that

she does. Needless to say, I won't be going back to her.

I can only advise that I would try EVERYTHING else before you try the

Aclovate. Your skin will seem better at first and it will quickly

become dependent. I did not even have rosacea when i was given the

cream; just a touch of eczema. I lay in bed at night and wonder what

my life would be like if someone had told me right away not to use

it. I certainly don't want you to have to be doing that one day.

The best to you.

Ann
