Hello I am new to the group and wanted to introduce myself. My name

is and i live in texas with my husband of 11 years and daughter

kay who is 9 and living with CF. I have taken time to look at the

photos and it was a joy to see! I will add photos of Kay also but

mom hates to have her photo taken!Kay has been having weight problems

and after a 2 yr fight with weight her doctors decided to put in a g-

tube. She got it on halloween and is doign great but i thought i

might share with you about a pump that her doctor got for her...Her

doctor got her a cool pump called Zevex Enteralight! Wow this thing

is wonderful. I have talked with others about pumps and they all have

told me about the Kangaroo PET but this pump shines compared to the

kangaroo. Here is a site that tells you all about the pump

daughter loves this pump and has already learned how do do it all

herself. We are waiting on a teal color backpack for her...the small

backpack is wonderful for a child. The zevex feeding bags come in 2

sizes 1200ml and 500ml the small backpack is made for the 500ml bags

but we have used the large bags with 750ml and a little modification

to make the bag smaller to fit. The pump does cost a bit more than

the kangaroo (aprox $200) but well worth it. The Pet backpack in turn

cost about $200 more than the zvex back pack. I just wanted to share

hope it helps someone out there...
