What seems odd to me, is that she would want to see your son's body.

She has a two year old brother. She must have seen him get his

diaper changed. She must already know that there is a difference

between boys and girls. I certainly can't give you any advice. I'm

more the type to avoid a situation that I don't know how to deal

with.

Oh boy. What an ordeal. I have had my own troubles with men causing me at an

early age. I'm sure without elaborating you all know what I mean. Kids will

be kids, BUT NOT AT NINE AND A HALF YEARS OLD!!!!!!!!!!! I mean come on,

what are her parents teaching her. But if I were you, I wouldn't mention the

incident around your son again and chances are he will forget it. I

definitely agree about the friendship change, you will never look at them

First off, seeing the private area of a girl shouldn't harm . I was 5

when I saw a penis the first time (on a 5-year-old-boy who left the door open in

the girls' bathroom at school), and I just kinda thought it was weird. (Of

course, for years, I thought that's what they all looked like even on adult

men...hehe...and was surprised when I saw a porn film in college) He might

question you about the differences, but most kids that age just think stuff like

Maybe the girl has been molested or assulted and this is her way of

acting out. Maybe she has seen things that are inappropriate and is

trying to show you because she feels safe at your house. I had a

friend when I was a little girl who used to want to play

these " games " that creeped me out but I didn't understand. I was only

9. Come to find out when I was in my teens that she had been molested

by an Uncle.

Maybe the parents are acting non shalant because they know and are

ashamed or embarrased. Well, I won't go into details. I would talk to

the pediatrician about it just to make sure there is nothing to do

for your son. As far as what to do about the other family I don't

know.

I had a neighbor boy a couple of years back always wanted to get

undressed with my son and look at eachother's penis. I kept my son

away from him because I couldn't get him to stop. The details of how

it came about are too long. Anyways, I had a weird feeling about it

from the beginning because of my experience w/ my childhood friend. I

later found out the father was always laying around his home naked

and looking at porn on his laptop. I have my own thoughts of what may

have happened or what the child saw but I have no proof so I chose to

just stay away and leave it alone. I won't call child protective

services unless I have concrete evidence.

Anyways, I know it's scary but this is my experience and I thought

I dont know from personal experience, but in our clinic we have had a few kids

who have been molested, I know that they had a advanced knowledge of sex

organs. I wonder why she wanted to look at your son seeing as she has a

brother. My kids bath together and come in the shower with . us if they want

to . So hopefully they wont be fascinated with that stuff as they have seen it

at home, in a decent way. On the other hand I have friends who kids have never

been in the bath etc. with them since they were certain ages and the little boy

went through the 'look what girls have' thing. I would also distance my kids

but hopefully keep the friendship. I have friends who I see but our kids dont

get along so we see each other when the kids are at school.
