Guest guest
Hello, my name is Deb and I am new to the group . I have been researching LDN for MS for months, but the best information I get is on this site. I am searching for a docter to perscribe this treatment for me. In the mean time , I am gathering info to give to whatever docter I find. My question: When starting LDN , should I start on the lowest dose then work my way up to the 4.5? I read that I should start on 1.5 then go 2mg then 3mg then 4.5. Do I have that right? I was on another website and some said try the 1.5 for 30 days then work my way up. I am a happy strong spirited person , who just wants some relief for my MS symptoms. I also wanted to post a warning!!!!! I thought I found a docter that would perscribe the LDN this week . A few red flags went up when I was arranging an appt., so I did a little investagating. It ends up this docter was not liscened in any state. The phone number I was calling was a fowarded number with no ID. This docter only wanted cash for his 1st visit $450.00. I was to meet his assistant in a lobby of a hotel .I thought it was a docter's office.fo und out that the website he had on the internet was a hoax. Who know's what they had in store for me when I showed up. This was really disappointing and made me sick for day's. I called the AMA fraud dept and they told me to call the police. I told them I am not capable of getting involved because of my illness and just wanted to post a warning. There was really nothing anyone could do to help. Thank goodness, I checked this out before going. I just wanted to say "BE CAREFUL" when choosing a docter. These people pray on those of us who just want help. I will update everyone , if I hear anything about this docter. I am seeing if I am allowed to expose him on the internet without getting into trouble. This person was not a docter, just a scam artist. Before going to anyone that claims to be a docter that perscribes ldn give the AMA(american Medical Assoc.) a call in the state he is supposed to be praticing in and do a little investagating. I will update all of you soon. take care...stay strong...Deb
