Guest guest
I have just had my first vbeam treatment and it went great! Will be several more treatments before the rosacea is under control, but I am very hopeful. The RN suggested that I have a Derma Peel directly before each vbeam treatment. if anyone has any information on the use of a Derma Peel with rosacea, I would love to hear it! An esthetician also recommended having peels done. Apparently they are very helpful with acne and scars caused by acne. It will probably cause some seeping. However not every thing that is affective with acne is necessarily helpful with rosacea and the last thing I want to do is exacerbate my condition. Also, I am not sure if I should stop taking my tetracycline or not. It is one of the primary reasons I wanted to have the vbeam treatment, but I am scared to stop taking it, every time I stop my face gets FULL of pustules, it is really disgusting! Thanks for you attention.
Guest guest
Please do not have this dermapeel. It sound like a mild acid peel and will make your rosacea much worse. Imagine taking a lemon and putting it on your delicate rosacea skin. This is about the equilavent of a mild fruit acid peel in terms of acid strength. If your answer to my question was no, then you may want to avoid the suggested peel. There are a number of people out there that treat us but really dont understand or disorder.
