You are right it is scary. I had half a peanut butter and jelly sandwich for

dinner and then 30 minutes later my heart was pounding and I felt sick. I took

my BP and it was 148/84 (mine is normally around 110/60 since losing weight) and

my pulse was 101. I took my blood sugar and it was 175. That's probably not

that unusual for someone who is a Diabetic but that is higher than mine has ever

been in my life. I felt like crap for about 45 minutes. When I checked it an

hour later it was down to 114. I don't know how people who are Diabetics deal

with this day in and day out! Oh, well, at least it hasn't been as low today.

The lowest it's been today was 62.

..... I know what you mean about being shakey ... It happens when my sugar gets

high or low ... quickly is when I feel the worse, not when it does it over a

long period of time ... it's kind of scary... Louie in WV
