New member story- steroid induced rosacea

Hi everyone,

I have been reading posts in this group for a while now but havent

joined until today.

I believe that my rosacea is steroid induced. When I was about 20, I

used accutane and to prevent peeling, my moron doctor had me use

cortisone cream (Westcort) both during and after the accutane. This

winter, I started using Protopic, which helped incredibly- cleared me

up about 85%. However, the drawback is that having just a small

amount of alcohol causes a tremendous flush and leaves me broken out

a few days later. Also, I am a little weary of using such a new drug.
