Guest guest
Hello Everyone, I am still new to the group and working on getting to know everyone. I have a question but first I will give you my story. My Husband (Joe) is 29 and suffering from a chronic pnacreatic attack. We went to the DR on Friday and they believe that he has an infection in his pancreas. They put him on Cipro and sent him home to rest until tomorrow (Monday). I am going to email the DR tonight with a log of Joe's fevers and then tomorrow we will know more. Right now he has been off of work for 3 weeks and the DR said at least 2 more. Actully he said he was unable to predict at this time. Here is the problem. We are a family of 5, 3 smaill children ages 8,6 & 4. While my husband is not workin ghe is not getting paid. I thought that his boss would be more understanding, but he is not. My family has helped as much as possible but that is running low also. Social services would like to help but, he makes to much money when he is woeking and we need to go another 30 with no income to get help there. I am planning a benefit for our friends and neighbors and local businesses. I am going to write a letter to our local paper and hope they print it. My question is this, is there any organizations that help families like us living with CP? Any one that you could put me in contact with would be great! I have also emailed a letter to my lcoal United Way office and hope to hear back from them soon. My husband is determined to get through this attack and get back to work. The DR's seem confident that he will be able to, they are just not sure how long it will take. I hope that someone, some where will be able to put me in touch with the right agency. Thank You, & Joe Ring in land
