Guest guest
What about cranberry juice or the cranberry extract capsules? Aren't those supposed to help with recurrent bladder infections? Jody mom to -7 and -9 SCD 1/
Guest guest
Are you tested for a bacterial infection every time? Insist on this before you get an antibiotic. I did not, was put on multiple rounds of differnt antibx including 2 weeks of Cipro, which killed my intestinal flora and just made my bladder condition worse in the long run. I had interstitial cystitis (IC), which feels exactly like a UTI but it's not an infection. It is the bladder lining wearing away. In my case it was all yeast/bacterial related to my gut... since they produce toxins, my theory is that the toxins are the agents which wear away at the bladder lining. When I had an IBS attack, and thrush on nipples while bf'ing, my bladder acted up at the same time. Yogurt/kefir everyday and healing my gut was the cure for the IC.
