Guest guest
Hello Everyone and Thank You for your Prayers!!! I had a rough time of it with the surgery. Did fantastic the first 5 days actually I amazed the Dr's. I was walking the 2nd day had the catheder taken out as well as the NG tube (that was my own doing and not recommended). Then on the 5th day I had some help with my bowels that may have screwed up what is left of my digestive system. I started with severe nausea and even though I was vomiting they discharged me 8 days after surgery. I had to be readmitted for hydration twice and both times they refused to do TPN feedings. After the last discharge I saw Dr. Sutherland in clinic and he agreed then I needed tpn and that I should get home as soon as possible. So I left MN on the 23rd only to be admitted in N.O. the same night. I got out on Halloween and am still having problems eating...pain is the main factor. My pain management Dr has suggested burning the nerves to the pain area but I can't afford it right now. He's going to try and get the hospital charge waived and he'll discount by 50%. Can't do any better as it will be him and his partner doing the procedure. Hope everyone is doing well. All of you are in my prayers.
