Hi all,

I am sure that this has come up on the site before but...of late I have been

very pleased with my skin. It is not flaky, not red, and does seem to flush

very often. In fact, I look pretty normal, except for one thing. The last two

weeks I have noticed (and not every day) that my face is puffy. I usually

notice this in the morning because to be honest that is the only time I really

spend in front of the mirror. It doesn't go away throughout the day all of the

time (I have noticed it some at night) but I am not sure if this happens always.

What could be causing this and how can I get the puffiness to go down? I drink

lots of water and am not bloated in other places, so I don't think

dehydration/retaining water is the problem. Any suggestion?

Thanks

Jena

Yeah, I am controlling my facial adema to a large degree. The photoderm

treatments I had 2 years ago helped a lot. I submitted a post a couple of

hours ago detailing this; I don't think the moderators have posted it yet.

Because I still have damaged blood vessels, most of which are deep enough

under my skin to be invisible (one of the the hallmarks of cea) I can't

totally control the edema; those damaged blood vessels will always leak fluid

into the surrounding tissues to some degree, causing varying degrees of

inflammation. To the best of my ability I simply avoid my triggers, the main

one being heat. Hopefully, I will be undergoing further photoderm by a

Bitter trained physician; I'm hoping more of the deeper damaged " feeder "

vessels will be destroyed. As I detailed in my last post, I will encourage a

flush before undergoing photoderm. I'm convinced this helps.

Keep in touch, B!
