Guest guest
I think the main cause of my cea is long-term use of steroid nasal sprays. (The cea is much worse on my nose than anywhere else and before I used Azelaic acid on the rest my face, the rest of my skin was clear.) Some of the steroid is bound to leak out onto your nose like it did mine. Dr. Nase even address this briefly in his book, making note that steroid nasal sprays can make cea worse. My advice is not to risk it. I would try a non-steroidal nasal spray. Right now I am doing without, but miserably stuffy. I hope that helps! Original Message: Just wondering if anyone has any advice on how to prevent daily nose flushing? It seems like as long as i avoid my triggers, my cheeks will not flush. However, nose flushing seems to be quite spontaneous. My allergist prescribed Rhinocort nasal spray for my seasonal allergies..it contains a corticosteroid. does anyoen know if this is damaging to the veins inside the nasal passage? Can anyone shed some light on the other nasal sprays out there, whether they can help or worsen nasal flushing or not? thanks !
