I loved applegate farms for our GFCF days, but aren't most of their

products illegal for SCD? I couldn't look at all the products, but

everything so far that I just checked had sugar, cane juice or dextrose.

I know I have always checked and rechecked ingredients closely when I

was told something was fine or not (for GFCF). Please, though, for us

newbies out there, make sure that something truly is SCD legal before

recommending.

Thanks-

Applegate is removing sugar from some products but can't give us a specific

Hi ,

> the turkey salami is ok, i think = turkey, water, sodium

lactate, salt garlic beet powder, paprrika, spices.

Questions to ask:

-is the turkey seasoned or plain?

-is it fresh garlic or garlic powder?

-is the beet powder just dehydrated beets or are there any free flow

agents?

-what are the spices?

> the organic turkey hot dogs is ok, i think = organic turkey,

water, sea salt, celery juice, spices, paprika, garlic, onion,

lactic acid starter culture (not from dairy)

Same questions as above, plus

- is it fresh onion or onion powder?
