Guest guest
Dawn, consider that you may be allergic to one of the products you are using. I would stop everything, except warm compresses, for a few days and change brand of lubricating eye drops, making sure you have one with no preservatives. Buy a single dose vial. What is the ointment you are using? Also read my old posts on Omega oils, taken internally for ocular symptoms. Good luck, Kate
Guest guest
It may be the ointment that you are using that is causing your increased problems. I found that my ocular rosacea symptoms were made much much worse by many ointments, creams and lotions. I also began washing my hands to remove any trace of any lotion or cream that I would use so I wouldn't inadvertenly get some on/near my eyes. Everyone is different but once I started doing that my symptoms improved 100%. I also stopped using all eyemake up until my eyes cleared up then gradually started but not with anything I had used before - only the Kiss-Me-Mascara works for me - and then a month or so later the Jane Iredale products. I might add that the products i discontinued using were products that I had used for years and then suddenly/gradually became sensitive to them.Good luck - I know how awful you feel when your eyes are like that!
