Hi a,

Be carefull , this works sometimes , but not all the

time. My husband pays an arm and a leg for a PPO

policy so we can pick any DR and any Hospital and Any

Specialists.....BUT what they fail to tell you untill

you ask for pre-approval is that you are free to

choose these things in network. My network is

in SO. Carolina,Florida,Georgia, and Alabama. Dr R

is NO. Carolina so the fight begins. I now have

the hospital OK'D but they are dragging their feet

on the DR OK......go figure.....what will I do

in a hospital without a Dr?

Judi--maybe you can offer to do Dr. R's laundry... walk his dog?

babysit his kids? carry his medical bag?

Best of Luck!
