Guest guest
Tammy, I glad to hear that you are home. I'm so very sorry that you had all those complications from the surgery. Sorry to here that the Eyelet Transplant didn't work out for you. Do take care of yourself and try and not get too discouraged. I too had my incision break open after mt last 3 surgery, including my whipple. They to docs told me it would take 4-6 week to heal up, but it took me over 10 weeks to heal up. Everyone body takes a different amount of time to heal, so do be patience, and most of all rest and don't overdue it. I had a doc once tell me for every day you spend in the hospital, it take a week at home to get your strength back. What I trying to say is don't expect too much too soon, as your body has been thru a great deal. I keep you in my prayers that the rest of your recovery goes uneventfully. I glad you a at home where you can at least rest comfortable. Keep us posted on your recovery when you feel up to it. Take Care, Louie in WV Re: Total Pancreatectomy.almost died > Hello to everyone.
